  • Star of China is an excellent rare white tea that is delicate and subtle. Often served at state functions in Beijing, this white tea captivates your imagination.  Each star of China is covered in soft velvety hairs and made from five individual leaf buds, then painstakingly hand tied to form this intriguing white tea.     Characteristics:  A very delicate green tea taste. Special downy leaves are laboriously hand tied into star shapes.



  • Hot Tea Brewing Recommendations:
    AMOUNT TO USE: Place 5-9 stars in your teapot and add freshly boiled water.

    BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS: Infuse until the ball is fully open, usually about 5 minutes. Watch the long leaves unfurl to reveal the hidden flower treasure. Milk and sugar are not recommended. ALERT: You must use boiling water or the stars will not open properly.
