  • For over 300 years, Rooibos has been the traditional drink of the indigenous people of Cape Town, South Africa.  The locals harvested the fine needles from wild "Aspalathus Linearis" plants on the slopes of the beautiful Cedarberg Mountains.  They believed this red tea had tremendous healing powers and was regarded as a "miracle tea."  It wasn't until the early 1900's, when commercial exploitation began, that news of this elixir of the mind and body spread.  Each cup of Rooibos tea  contains essential minerals such as Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Copper, Zinc, Magnesium, Manganese, Fluoride, and Sodium.  Rooibos herbal tea is caffeine free and naturally sweet which makes it perfect for relaxing anytime.
