  • The superior quality of this loose leaf green tea comes from the freshly hand picked morning harvest of young leaves from the mountains of Japan. The unfermented leaves are immediately steamed and dried to retain their peak flavor and vibrant green color. This green tea is widely consumed as part of the daily Japanese tea tradition. Japanese green tea is smooth and flavorful with good body when prepared properly.  As with all green teas, careful preparation with water that has cooled to 180 degrees Fahrenheit is a must.
