Preheat oven to 425° F. Lightly grease large baking sheet; set aside. In large bowl of electric mixer, mix flour with baking powder, paprika, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Add butter; at low speed, beat until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese. Beat eggs with 1/2 cup heavy cream until blended. At low speed, beat egg mixture into flour mixture just until blended Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface; shape into ball. With floured rolling pin, roll to 1/2-inch thickness; cut out scones with 2 1/2 inch cutter. Roll scraps and cut out. Place scones on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with remaining heavy cream; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 15 minutes, or until golden. Split scones; fill with ham. Makes 12.
