  • Lung Ching Tea, also known as Dragon Well, is produced by hand through a 10 part process.  Grown in the West Lake region in the Zhejiang Province of China, Imperial Dragon well Lung Ching is distinguished by its bright emerald green color, full bodied green tea flavor and flowery notes.  Only the bud and first leaf are used in this premium green tea.  Growing conditions and select harvesting make Imperial Dragon Well an exceptional green tea.  Culminated with traditional manufacturing techniques, producing a superior green tea loaded with powerful antioxidants, and polyphenols that measured at slightly over 10% by dry weight.  Historically, Dragon well Lung Ching tea was given as a gift to emperors and dignitaries, and today, makes an excellent gift for family and friends.

  • Hot Tea Brewing Recommendations:
    AMOUNT TO USE: Put 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9 oz/200-260 ml of water in the teapot. Pour freshly boiled water over tea.

    BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS: Steep 3-7 minutes. Milk and sugar are not recommended.


    Iced Tea Preparation Recommendations:
    AMOUNT TO USE: To make 1 L/1 QT, put 6 slightly heaping teaspoons of loose tea into a teapot. Pour 1¼ cups/315ml of boiling water over tea.

    BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS: Steep 5 minutes. Fill a serving pitcher 1/4 full with cold water. Pour tea into serving pitcher.
