Imperial Tea Garden Shipping Methods, Charges & Policies
Shipping Policy - Effective 12/1/2009
Imperial Tea Garden Ships only within the United States, US Territories.
Most items are shipped the same business day for online orders placed
Monday through Friday before 2PM EST. Exceptions to this policy include
items marked special order, weekends, and holidays and back orders.
The most common delays in processing orders is due to incorrect data
entered during checkout.
Imperial Tea Garden uses Address Validation System (AVS) and Card
Verification Value (CVV) to help prevent credit card fraud. Your credit
card information is transmitted using 128 bit encrypted server and verified
by our payment processing center. This information is never stored or
shared for any reason. For more information please review our privacy
policy. Please be sure to use your billing address that matches your credit
card statements in order to prevent processing delays.
Shipping Methods
USPS - United States Postal Service Priority Mail is the cheapest choice for
small orders and most residential deliveries. Please be advised - - Imperial
Tea Garden ships via priority mail for all orders shipped to US Territories,
PO Boxes, APO/FPO regardless of the shipping option chosen during
checkout. Delivery confirmation is included. Current rates.
UPS Ground - United Parcel Service ground shipping usually takes 3-8
days and is the best option for heavy packages. UPS has much better
tracking services but includes a $3 residential fee delivery fee.
Commercial business accounts must be established with Imperial Tea
Garden before this fee can be waived. Commercial accounts can be
established by contacting Imperial Tea Garden.
UPS Shipping Options are based on real time shipping calculations. If the
UPS server or system is down, you will be prompted to make another
selection.
UPS 2nd Day Air - If you really need it fast, Imperial Tea Garden offers
UPS 2nd Day Air. Order Must be received before 2 pm EST for same day
shipping.
Tracking Your Order
To check the status of your order and track your shipment during transit,
Imperial Tea Garden uses the following Methods. When you place your
order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that includes your
Order Number and a copy of the items purchased and all subsequent
charges. Once your order is processed you will receive an additional email
confirming that your order has been shipped. This email provides a
delivery confirmation number that is used to verify that your package has
been delivered to your address. Make sure that you enter a correct e-mail
address on your order form to receive this information. To check the
status of your package yourself, visit the USPS or UPS websites and enter
your delivery confirmation number or tracking number in the tracking box.
